In this video of Taser, you can see that although I can catch either horse, it is not without a lot of signals from the horses indicating that they are not entirely comfortable with my presence. Thus, I continue to establish dialog with the horses and continue to catch and release. As I have said before, I could ignore these signals and force myself upon these horses. And that might be alright for the first ride, the second ride, and maybe even the tenth ride. But it is the hundredth and two hundredth ride that concerns me. And traumas and misunderstandings at this stage can often result in problems that subsequent riders will have to manage without ever knowing that they were caused at this stage by a careless trainer like me.
